It’s a kind of crazy that counselling services aren’t seen as an essential need, and fees are aren’t covered by our healthcare system. Particularly given the state of the world, the high cost of living, the craziness of our lives, and the unrealistic expectations most of us are trying to manage. We wish it was different.

We try to be as transparent as possible about our fees, payment polices, and processes.

If you have benefits, it’s important to check what is covered and ensure that your coverage matches your therapist’s credentials. You should also check for maximums of coverage to ensure each session is covered or any out of pocket differences are manageable. In some situations we have been able to advocate for additional sessions by writing a letter of support for your benefits providers.
